Every year, from June to August, CDC employees eagerly await their annual getaway from the daily grind. This well-loved tradition, highly valued by the CDC leadership, not only underscores CDC’s rich cultural identity but also serves to boost team spirit and wellness, rejuvenating the CDC family for the latter half of the year.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the summer of 2022 saw CDC staff escaping the bustling city to immerse themselves in the scenic beauty of Ha Long Bay. The nearly 500 members of CDC, including both office and construction staff along with their families, were split into two groups to ensure the continuity of production; the first group from June 22-24 and the second from June 26-28.
In Ha Long, the CDC team engaged in a variety of activities. Aboard a five-star cruise, they explored the poetic seascape of the vast bay. At Bai Chay Beach, the team shed their inhibitions, embracing the challenges posed by team-building activities. It was here that the passionate hearts of CDC were metaphorically ‘set ablaze’, leaving a lasting imprint in the sands of the beach. At the Gala night, they lived up to the spirit of “Conquering the Bay – Breaking the Limits,” celebrating vibrantly together.
This journey to the bay was a true manifestation of unity and celebration – core values that CDC’s leadership cherishes to foster and promote a strong corporate culture developed over more than 11 years.
As they returned from their trip, each CDC member carried home a special gift, one that could only be “wrapped within the heart,” a cherished memory of beautiful days spent with their CDC family, bringing smiles whenever reminisced.
