On October 16, 2026, CDC Construction officially completed the basement roof slab at the A&T Saigon Riverside (AT2) project, marking a significant milestone in its construction progress. This achievement reflects the persistent efforts of the Site Management Board, engineers, and construction workers in overcoming challenging geological conditions and complex construction requirements.

The AT2 project is characterized by complex geological conditions and weak soil foundations, posing considerable challenges throughout the underground construction phase.

To address these difficulties, the Site Management Board maintained a strong on-site presence, proactively implemented technical solutions, mobilized resources, and organized continuous construction activities with a firm determination to achieve this critical milestone on schedule.

From midnight on October 15 until 10:00 AM on October 16, 2026, the AT2 construction site operated at full capacity. Dozens of site management personnel, engineers, and construction workers worked closely together to complete the pouring of 455 m³ of concrete, successfully finishing the basement roof slab after hours of intensive, well-coordinated construction activities.

Immediately following this milestone, the Site Management Board convened to review and develop plans for the above-ground structural construction phase, preparing for the next stage of accelerated progress with the goal of delivering AT2 safely, to the highest quality standards, and in accordance with its commitments.

CDC Construction extends its sincere appreciation to all partners and the entire AT2 construction team for their dedication and valuable contributions. Although one of the project’s most challenging phases has been overcome, the team’s determination remains stronger than ever as CDC Construction continues moving forward, ready to achieve the next milestones on its journey.
