On the morning of June 8, at its headquarters, CDC Construction JSC solemnly held a Ceremony for the Announcement & Appointment of Senior Personnel. Specifically:

• Tran Van Truong, a member of the Board of Directors (BOD), was appointed as Vice Chairman of the BOD.
• Dang Thanh Trang, also a member of the BOD, was appointed as General Director.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Tan Long, Chairman of the BOD, stated on behalf of the BOD: “Today’s ceremony is a particularly important event for the company as we officially appoint two senior leadership positions: Vice Chairman of the BOD and General Director. Strengthening the leadership team is necessary and aligns with the company’s current development strategy. With the consolidation of these two positions, along with the unity of the entire company, and by upholding our core values: QUALITY – INNOVATION – COMMITMENT, the BOD believes that CDC will overcome all obstacles to achieve new successes…”

Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Truong, the newly appointed Vice Chairman of the BOD, expressed his gratitude to the BOD and the Board of General Directors for their trust; he also stated: “During my five years as General Director, I, along with the other members of the leadership team, have always been concerned about how to maintain CDC’s values built over the past 13 years, while continuing to innovate and achieve the set goals at each stage of development. In my new position, together with the BOD and the Board of General Directors, I promise to continue growing CDC, enhancing governance, with the ultimate goal of steering CDC towards sustainable development…”

As one of the few female leaders in the construction industry, Ms. Dang Thanh Trang, the new General Director, shared: “In my new position, I deeply understand that alongside the honor comes a great responsibility for myself and the Board of General Directors. However, with the direction from the BOD and the collective determination of the CDC team, I am confident and promise to work with the Board of General Directors to successfully achieve our common goals.” Speaking about strategic work, the head of the Board of General Directors and the Strategy Board noted that last year, the Strategy Board, primarily responsible for developing the AOP 2024 Plan, achieved certain successes. She also emphasized: “In all our work, planning is not difficult, but the true challenge lies in the execution and implementation of the plan, which requires great mutual support and unity from the team…”

During the ceremony, the leadership team also officially announced the establishment of new departments and appointed several department heads/acting heads.
