On the morning of June 4th, alongside a special program recognizing exemplary teams held on the same day, CDC ceremoniously welcomed a delegation from Simon Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Simon Vietnam) at their headquarters. The delegation was led by Mr. Esteban Bretcha Palacios, Chairman of the Board of Simon, and included representatives from the leadership teams of both Simon Spain and Simon Vietnam. Representing CDC, Mr. Mai Dinh Chat, Vice CEO, along with members of the Electromechanical Board, received the guests.
Simon is globally renowned for its diverse range of electrical and lighting equipment. Established in 1916 in Spain, Simon’s operations have now spread across 90 countries. In Vietnam, Simon officially began construction of an electrical equipment factory in Yen My II Industrial Zone (Hung Yen) in mid-2021 and has established representative offices in four major cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Can Tho.
CDC and Simon Vietnam have maintained a successful collaboration on projects such as Mipec Rubik 360 and FPT Plaza Da Nang. Notably, the lighting systems at CDC’s headquarters are also provided by Simon Vietnam. During the meeting, representatives from both sides expressed a desire to further extend their partnership based on mutual respect and joint development.
Identifying Simon Group and Simon Vietnam as strategic partners, Mr. Mai Dinh Chat, Vice CEO of CDC, stated: “CDC’s current development is partly due to our successful cooperation with partners, among whom international players like Simon are indispensable. We believe that our continued collaboration will contribute significantly to building sustainable values for Vietnam’s construction projects.”
