On the morning of August 4, 2022, CDC Construction Joint Stock Company (formerly known as CDC Hanoi Joint Stock Company) had the honor of welcoming the delegation from the Hanoi Tax Department for a visit and the presentation of the Certificate of Merit in recognition of the Company’s compliance with tax policies and regulations in 2020.
During the meeting, the representative of the Hanoi Tax Department highly commended CDC Construction Joint Stock Company for its consistent fulfillment of tax obligations over the years. The representative also emphasized that promoting exemplary businesses that strictly comply with tax obligations within Hanoi is essential, as it helps recognize and encourage the significant contributions of the business community to the socio-economic development of the capital in particular and the nation as a whole.
Accordingly, in 2020, the Hanoi Tax Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 336 entities, including CDC Construction Joint Stock Company. These companies notably contributed to the collective achievements of the tax sector in 2020. Statistics showed that by December 27, 2020, the total state budget revenue managed by the tax authorities reached VND 226.011 trillion, equivalent to 97.7% of the estimated target, and had increased by over VND 123 trillion compared to the figure previously reported by the Government to the National Assembly in June 2020.
Operating in the construction sector, CDC faced considerable challenges due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic but remained resilient. The company’s General Director, Mr. Tran Van Truong, shared: “At the height of the pandemic, CDC’s leadership made every effort to ensure stable employment and livelihoods for its employees while strictly complying with all tax and epidemic prevention regulations.” In 2020, CDC Construction Joint Stock Company was also honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the People’s Committee of Ha Dong District for “Outstanding Completion of Tax Obligations in 2020.”
