A Decade of Establishing a Name
Founded exactly 11 years ago, on April 27, 2011, CDC entered a construction industry that was already filled with significant names from North to South. The decision to establish the company during an unfavorable period was a bold move by CDC’s founders. Despite various challenges over the years, CDC has held its ground and even achieved remarkable success… “This is proof that ‘gold is tested by fire,’ and it reaffirms the correct strategy of CDC’s leadership generations,” stated a company representative.

Multidimensional Shifts at Age 11
To effectively implement the company’s development strategy for 2022 – 2027, with a vision extending to 2032, after completing its first decade, CDC has undertaken a series of major shifts starting in its 11th year.
Since early 2022, company leaders have recognized the need for a new business strategy suitable for the current conditions as the country moves into a post-pandemic economic and social recovery phase. Continuous strategic training sessions for senior staff have been initiated, with investments altering both the form and space of training.
CDC also revised its brand identity starting March 30. The new name – CDC Construction Joint Stock Company – replaced the old name – CDC Hanoi Joint Stock Company. The company logo was also redesigned to emphasize its foundational roots.
Since mid-2021, CDC has actively shifted to online platforms through digital transformation. Initially, the application of software in management activities caused some unfamiliarity within company departments. However, after about two months, the application process became smoother, significantly increasing work efficiency by 50-70%.
In mid-April, CDC’s leadership decided to penetrate the southern provincial markets, starting with the inauguration of a representative office at 8 Dong Van Cong Street, Ward Binh Trung Tay, District 2, HCMC.
In 2022, even before the first six months were up, CDC had already harvested many “sweet fruits.” On the eve of its 11th birthday, CDC secured three major contracts in Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, and Da Nang, totaling over VND 2.7 trillion, achieving nearly 70% of the annual market development plan set at the beginning of the year.
Additionally, on April 22, at the FAST500 ceremony organized by Vietnam Report in collaboration with Vietnamnet, CDC was honored in two major categories: FAST500 – Top 500 fastest growing enterprises in Vietnam and Top 50 Vietnam Best Growth – Top 50 best growing enterprises in Vietnam 2022.
